Anyways, if any of those kill team members were in fact complaining about the Russian kill teams (sinn, etc) then they are clearly hypocrites.

It's not surprising though. Those who complained the loudest turned around and did the exact same thing while acting all holy about "policing" the server.

You simply fail for needing kill teams in a server where you can have 500 turns at once. If someone pisses me off, I kill them. If a kill team pisses me off, I either kill them all or make them give up on their nations altogether.

This is the wisdom of the playground.

There are gangs of sorts in Expess (and on Mars, except we call them clans or alliances on the Alliance server) but, outside the Alliance server, they are about as significant or insignificant as gangs usually are.

Sides there are not.

Except maybe for the honest players side and the multi runner side.

From what I have seen the peole who co-operate in kill runs tell themselves that they do so to combat multies but actually they do so: for fun; to increase their ability to influence events; for bragging rights; all the usual things; and because some groups of friends have worked up a feud with another group of friends.

I quite like all this because it creates a splendidly hostile environment in which to run a country - mere survival is quite a respectable and difficult to attain objective in there. :)

I don't much like being killed by some child so inept at the game that the only way he can get to play is to run a dozen (or a hundred) countries. You can't - and would not want - to chat to such a child or to inter-react with him in any other way. The kill team people are different. I am quite admiring of their skills, they play within the rules and you can enjoy their company. Losing a country or three to such guys is part of the game and enhances the fun. :D

For myself I do not care to which particular group of friends my country goes down. If I have to usea translation device to joke with them (or taunt them if I happen to get in a shrewd blow) so much the better. Nearly the best thing about this site is that it originates in Russia. There are not so many other places on the web (that I have found anyway) where you can meet people from that country.
